Helping Hands Box Program

Miss West Virginia’s Outstanding Teen 2019 Lauren Rose has been focused on addressing food insecurity around the state with the implementation of the Helping Hands Box program, which saw boxes installed in neighborhoods and filled with non-perishable items to help those in need.

CCAP/Loaves & Fishes, due to the generosity of our donors, will be involved in the November campaign. We realize that not everyone can come to us for help. In West Virginia, 242,180 people are facing hunger – and of them 68,310 are children.
