Thank you! Arden Trinity Lutheran Church in Martinsburg and all the Volunteers

CCAP/L&F extends heartfelt thanks to Arden Trinity Lutheran Church in Martinsburg and all the dedicated volunteers who assisted with distributing the Christmas baskets. The baskets contained all the ingredients for a traditional Christmas meal, including a ham.

Thanksgiving and Christmas focus heavily on food. In 2023, the American Farm Bureau Federation reported that a Thanksgiving meal for ten people costs an average of $61.17.  While this may not seem high, remember it is just for one meal. If a parent spends the same amount on groceries for an entire week, they can provide multiple meals for their hungry child instead of just one.
